Auckland Radiology partners with Auckland FC to provide world-class medical imaging services.
Auckland Radiology Group (ARG), a division of RHCNZ Medical Imaging Group is thrilled to announce that they are an official partner of Auckland FC, Auckland’s new professional football club that competes in the A-League Men. Through this partnership, ARG will supply their world-class medical imaging services, including MRI, PET CT, CT, interventional radiology, ultrasound, and x-ray to the team.
AFC CEO, Nick Becker said that a new partnership with Auckland Radiology gives AFC the perfect opportunity to further enhance their medical and sports science programme.
“As the country’s newest professional sports team with a full schedule of games ahead of us, it is of vital importance our athletes are well-looked after and assessed by the country’s best team of radiologists.
Sports imaging is a particular area of speciality for Auckland Radiology. Almost half of ARG’s radiologists sub-specialise in musculoskeletal imaging and musculoskeletal interventions. These doctors are dedicated experts in imaging of the body’s bones, cartilage, connective tissues, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons.
Auckland Radiology’s Managing Radiologist, Dr. Stephen Merrilees, emphasised their commitment to supporting the New Zealand sports community.
