Auckland FC is proud to announce that six players of the 21-strong squad, have been selected for the New Zealand national team ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup campaign in New Zealand.
This marks a significant achievement for the club and highlights our goal of developing top-tier footballing talent.
The selected players are vice-captain Tommy Smith (defender), Nando Pijnaker (defender), Francis de Vries (defender), Alex Paulsen (goalkeeper), Logan Rogerson (winger) and Jesse Randall (winger).
Auckland FC’s Director of Football, Terry McFlynn, said, “We are proud to see six of our players selected for the All Whites’ World Cup squad. This is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the growing strength of football in Auckland.”
