AUCKLAND FC – JACKPOT TICKET PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By entering the Matchday Jackpot Prize (the ‘Promotion’), you accept these terms and conditions.
THE PROMOTER
The promoter is Black Knight Football Club LP Limited T/A Auckland FC (NZBN 9429051697822) of Level 1, Shed 19a, Princes Wharf, 137-147 Quay Street, Auckland, 1010, New Zealand (‘the Promoter’).
COMPETITION DATE
The Promotion will be held at the fixture between Auckland FC v Sydney FC on 7 February 2026 (the ‘Game’).
HOW TO ENTER
By purchasing a ticket to the Game, or by attending the Game on a membership, you automatically enter the Promotion (and become an ‘Entrant’).
Each ticket purchased or membership used to attend the Game, constitutes one (1) entry into the Promotion. An Entrant may make more than one (1) entry.
AN ENTRY WILL BE INVALID IF:
– it is not made in accordance with these terms & conditions;
– the Entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements;
– the ticket or membership is not scanned for entry to the Game;
– it is incomplete, incorrect, or fraudulent;
– it is generated through automated, bulk, or third-party methods; or
– it is cancelled, refunded, or reversed for any reason.
PRIZE DETAILS
1. JACKPOT PRIZE
The Winner will receive a cash prize (the ‘Jackpot’).
2. JACKPOT CALCULATION – SEATS SOLD AT KICK-OFF
The Jackpot will be calculated as follows:
NZD$0.35 x Seats Sold at Kick-Off
3. DEFINITION OF “SEATS SOLD AT MATCH KICK-OFF”
For the purposes of this Promotion, “Seats Sold at Kick-Off” means the total number of:
all tickets sold for, and used to enter, the Game (including as a corporate or hospitality guest); and
as at the moment the referee signals kick-off of the Game.
4. EXAMPLES (FOR ILLUSTRATIVE PURPOSES ONLY);
– If the Seats Sold at Kick-Off is 10,000, the Jackpot amount will be:
10,000 x $0.35 = NZD$3,500
– If the Seats Sold at Kick-Off is 15,000, the Jackpot amount will be:
15,000 x $0.35 = NZD$5,250
Please note these examples are illustrative only. The actual Jackpot will be determined based on the final Seats Sold Report (referred to below).
The Promoter will announce the Winner of the Jackpot and the final Jackpot amount during the halftime break of the Game. The Jackpot is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for any alternative.
WINNER SELECTION
Immediately following kick-off of the Game, the Promoter will run an electronic report containing all valid ticket-holders and memberships used to enter the Game as at kick-off (the ‘Seats Sold Report’). For the avoidance of doubt, for the purposes of the Seats Sold Report, a ‘membership’ includes a membership of a child 16 years of age or under (‘Child Membership’) that is used to enter the Game.
One (1) Entrant will be randomly selected from the Seats Sold Report and (subject to the eligibility requirements and these terms & conditions) be the winner of the Promotion (the ‘Winner’). Each eligible Entrant on the Seats Sold Report will have an equal chance of winning per valid Entry.
The Winner will be drawn at approximately five minutes into the Game, and the Promoter will then attempt to contact the Winner before the end of the first half (including injury time) of the Game using the contact details associated with the winning ticket or membership, or based on their seat location within the venue. The Winner will then be provided with instructions for prize verification and collection.
Following notification to the Winner, the Promoter will publicly announce the Winner during the half-time break of the Game.
PRIZE CONDITION
To be eligible to win the Promotion, the Winner must:
– be at least 16 years of age, or otherwise be accompanied by the adult who purchased the winning ticket or an adult with a valid membership used for entry to the Game;
– have purchased and hold a valid ticket for the Game (including as a corporate or hospitality guest), or have a valid Auckland FC membership in their name, that in either case – has been used to obtain entry to the Game; and
– be physically present at the Game at kick-off.
UNCLAIMED PRIZE
If the winner:
– is not present at the Game;
– does not make themselves known to Promoter staff by the end of the first-half of the Game (including injury time); or
– is unable to provide identification to the satisfaction of the Promoter in order to confirm eligibility;
the Jackpot will not be paid out and the Promoter reserves the right to rollover the value of the Jackpot to a new promotion at a future home fixture, with any such future promotion to be subject to new terms and conditions (the ‘Rollover Competition’).
Entrants who wish to enter any such Rollover Competition are required to enter the Rollover Competition in accordance with the terms and conditions of that competition, and are not given entry as a result of their entry to this Promotion.
GENERAL
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and Entrants.
If, for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available to it, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.
The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
PRIVACY
Personal information collected in connection with this Promotion will be used solely for administration purposes and will be handled in accordance with Auckland FC’s Privacy Policy available at: https://aucklandfc.co.nz/privacy.
Entrants acknowledge that their full name may be announced publicly if selected as the winner of the Promotion.
