FIFA Watch Party Giveaway – Terms & Conditions 

1. Promoter

This promotion is jointly delivered by McDonald’s New Zealand Limited, New Zealand Football and Auckland FC (together, the “Promoters”). 

2. Eligibility

The promotion is open to residents of New Zealand aged 18 years and over. 
Employees, contractors and immediate family members of the Promoters and any agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter. 

3. Promotional Period

The promotion opens at 3:00pm NZST on Wednesday, 10 June 2026 and closes at 3:00pm NZST on Friday, 12 June 2026 (“Promotional Period”). 
Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be accepted.

4. How To Enter

To enter, individuals must complete and submit the official entry form and sign up to the Promoter’s database during the Promotional Period. 
Limit of one entry per person. 
Duplicate, incomplete or fraudulent entries may be disqualified at the Promoters’ discretion.

5. Prize

There are a total of 50 double passes available for the FIFA Watch Party at Tyler Street, Auckland on Tuesday, 16 June 2026. 

Of these: 

  • 25 double passes will be distributed by New Zealand Football, and 
  • 25 double passes will be distributed separately by Auckland FC. 

Each prize consists of one double pass, providing entry for the winner and one guest (two general admission tickets in total). 
 
Doors open at 12:00pm NZST. The screening of the All Whites vs Iran FIFA World Cup 2026 match begins at approximately 1:00pm NZST and concludes at approximately 3:00pm NZST. 

Food and beverages will be available in limited quantities and will be provided at the Promoters’ discretion. 
 
Prizes are not transferable, refundable or exchangeable for cash or any other benefit. 

6. Winner Selection and Notification

Twenty-five (25) winners will be selected per Promoter at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period. 
The draw will take place following the close of the Promotional Period. 
Winners will be notified via the email address provided at entry. 

If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, or is unable to attend within 24 hours of notification, the Promoters reserve the right to select an alternative winner.

7. Attendance & Expenses

Winners and their guests are responsible for all costs associated with attending the FIFA Watch Party, including but not limited to transport, parking, accommodation and any personal expenses. 

The Promoters will not provide travel assistance or reimburse any costs incurred in attending the event.

8. Data Collection and Privacy

Personal information collected as part of this promotion will be used for the purposes of administering the promotion, contacting winners and sending communications from the relevant Promoter’s database, from which entrants may unsubscribe at any time. 

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the applicable Promoter privacy policies and the Privacy Act 2020. 
Entrants may request access to, or correction of, their personal information by contacting the relevant Promoter.

9. Publicity

By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name, image and likeness by the Promoters for reasonable promotional and publicity purposes relating to this promotion and the event, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoters are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, disappointment or expense suffered or incurred by any entrant arising directly or indirectly from participation in this promotion or attendance at the event. 

The Promoters are not responsible for any technical malfunction, lost, delayed, incomplete or misdirected entries, or any event cancellation, postponement or change outside their reasonable control. 

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoters are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, disappointment or expense suffered or incurred by any entrant arising directly or indirectly from participation in this promotion or attendance at the event. 

The Promoters are not responsible for any technical malfunction, lost, delayed, incomplete or misdirected entries, or any event cancellation, postponement or change outside their reasonable control. 

11. General

The Promoters reserve the right to verify the validity of entries and entrants and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or breaches these Terms and Conditions. 

The Promoters reserve the right to amend, suspend or cancel the promotion at any time where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond their control. 
Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. 

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
