Get all the important information you need ahead of our matchday at Go Media Stadium.

We are committed to providing all visitors with a safe and enjoyable experience. If at any time during the event, you feel unsafe or require assistance, text the word ASSIST followed by your message and location to 260 for venue security support.  

 Please be aware that by attending this event you are agreeing to the venue conditions of entry and drug & alcohol policy.   

 We are a SMOKE FREE venue. This includes the use of e-cigarettes and vapes.  

Timings & tickets

Box Office Opens – 2 Hours prior to KO
Gates Open – 90 Mins prior to KO
Gates Close – 1 Hour post KO

Tickets
The Box Office is situated at Gate B. There will be Ticketmaster staff located at the Box Office to assist you with any ticketing queries.

Don’t forget to print or pre-download your tickets prior to the match.
If your ticket is on your phone, make sure you have loaded it onto your phone before arriving at the gates. Turn up the brightness on your phone to maximum setting for fast scanning. If your screen is cracked, please print your ticket.

Getting to the Venue
Go Media Stadium is situated at 2 Beasley Ave, Penrose, Auckland. Please refer to your ticket for the correct entrance gate. Find directions to Go Media Stadium here.

Public Transport 
You can travel to Auckland FC matches for free on regular Auckland Transport services using your matchday ticket.

Pre & Post Match at LilyWorld

Enjoy the bar
Lilyworld is the best place to soak up the atmosphere and connect with AFC fans before and after the game. With a live DJ, food & drink deals and a huge screen showing live sport – there’s no place better.

Lilyworld is accessible via Gate E on Maurice Road and will be open from 10am.

Auckland FC members enjoy an exclusive discount on food and beverage purchases throughout the season.

Parking

Parking
There are no general parking facilities onsite. We strongly encourage patrons to utilise public transport to get to and from the match.

If public transport is not an option, some parking may be available on the streets surrounding the stadium. Parking on private property is at your own risk. Please be aware that some streets are subject to road closures or parking restrictions, these are outlined below.

The following road closures will be in place on matchday to assist with the smooth running of the event and to ensure crowd safety.

Temporary Liquor Ban 
A temporary liquor ban will be enforced surrounding the venue from 6am on matchday to 6am the following day.

The Police will be actively monitoring these public areas and enforcing this ban.

Accessibility

Ticketing Queries
Please call the Ticketmaster Contact Centre if you require wheelchair or accessible seating bookings, are otherwise unable to complete a ticket purchase online or your accessibility needs have changed.

Entering The Venue
Mobility entrance gates are located Gates A, B or C. Mobility volunteers are onsite to assist with golf buggies and a helping hand to help get you to your seat. You can identify our friendly mobility volunteers by their blue hi-vis jackets.

Mobility Parking
Mobility parking is available on Beasley Ave. on a first come, first served basis for patrons who hold a valid mobility parking permit.

Once this is fully taken, there is very limited onsite overflow parking for mobility patrons.[TBC]
You will be required to present your mobility permit to traffic control staff for access – no permit, no entry. 

Accessible Viewing Platform 
There is a limited capacity accessible viewing platform situated immediately inside the venue in the south-west corner. This is for holders of accessible tickets plus one companion. If you require access to the platform, please ensure you have purchased an accessible ticket. If you are unsure or need to change your ticket please contact Ticketmaster Help.

VENUE Information

Age Restrictions 
This is a family-friendly event, suitable for all ages. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

All children must have a valid ticket to enter the venue. Children aged under 3 do not require a ticket if they do not occupy a seat.

Weather 
The match will go ahead rain or shine. Go Media Stadium is an entirely outdoor venue so please be prepared for the weather that is forecast.

Food & Beverages

We are a licensed venue. There will be a range of food options available on site, including vegetarian and vegan options.

Free water stations are provided throughout the venue. There are coffee/hot drinks outlets on site. You may NOT bring ant commercial food or takeaways, or any beverages into the venue. You may bring a sealed water bottles or empty reuseable drink bottles into the venue (up to 750ml).

Please bring identification if you wish to purchase alcohol. Accepted forms of ID are Passport, NZ Driver’s License or Kiwi Access 18+ card. if we are unsure of your age and you do not have ID, you will not be able to purchase alcohol.

Event Restrictions

To ensure that all patrons have a comfortable and enjoyable experience, we ask match-goers to respect our facilities and help contribute to a fantastic event. 

To achieve this, we require all visitors to the stadium to meet the conditions of entry. Please note, conditions are subject to change without notice.

Security & Search on Entry
Stadium management and its representatives reserve the right to request patrons to present any clothing, bags and other carried items for searching, including being subject to a pat down and/or a scanner search before entering the stadium. 

If you refuse to present any of the requested items for searching, you will be denied entry. Entry will be refused if a patron is intoxicated or under the influence of illicit substances.

Event Restrictions

Banners & Signs
Banners, flags (without poles) and posters made from soft materials such as cloth, cardboard or paper are permitted. Signs should not be larger than A1 in size and must not obstruct the view of other patrons.

Larger banners and flags with poles will only be allowed into the venue once they have been reviewed and approved by the stadium security team before arrival to the gate. Please email us at info@aucklandstadiums.co.nz to seek approval before matchday.

Banners that exceed the maximum size or that have not been approved may be denied entry.

Prohibited items
Here is a non-exhaustive list of prohibited items from this venue. For a full list of prohibited and permitted items, please see our conditions of entry or visit the event page:

  • Flares, smokes bombs, fireworks and other pyrotechnics
  • Bags larger than A3
  • Professional video or audio recording equipment
  • Weapons, including any object that may be used as a projectile
  • Alcohol or illicit drugs
  • Prams and strollers
  • Lasers or flashlights
  • Selfie sticks, GoPros, drones
  • Chilly bins & coolers
  • Cans or glass of any kind
  • Speakers, air horns and hailers
  • Commercial food and drinks, including takeaways and soft drinks
  • Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles or scooters. 
  • Animals except service dogs

Please note that prohibited items will be confiscated and will not be returned. If in doubt, leave it at home. Stadium management and the promoter take no responsibility for confiscated items. 

Permitted Items

The following items are permitted within the venue:

  • Small personal cameras and camera phones
  • Umbrellas*
  • 1x empty reusable drinks bottle**
  • 1x sealed plastic bottle of water (up to 750ml)
  • Disability assistance dogs
  • Small quantities of home-prepared food
  • A small picnic blanket or cushion, for seated patrons only.

Stadium management take no responsibility for any damage to, loss or theft of a patron’s personal property while on stadium property.

* Umbrellas cannot be opened while inside the venue
**Please note that bottles will be emptied on entry into the venue.

For safety reasons, footwear is to be worn at all times

Behaviour
Our priority is to ensure all match-goers have an enjoyable experience. Patrons who exhibit unacceptable or disruptive behaviour will be asked to leave the stadium.

Failure to comply with a request to leave the event venue from venue staff, security staff or NZ Police may render the ticket holder liable to arrest and prosecution. 

Drug & Alcohol Policy
Go Media Stadium complies with the Liquor Licensing Authority and prohibits the serving of alcohol to intoxicated or under-aged persons. There will be zero tolerance for intoxication.

Go Media Stadium maintains a strict ‘no drugs’ policy. Illicit drugs are prohibited and will be confiscated. Incidents involving alcohol or drugs will be referred to the NZ Police where the situation required. For more information on the drug and alcohol policy, please view the venue’s condition of entry.
