1. Promoter
The initiative is jointly delivered by New Balance and Auckland FC, with support from Belgravia Apparel (together, the Promoters).
2. Eligibility
The initiative is open to girls aged 10–14 years at the time of entry.
Entrants must be based in New Zealand and connected to organised football (club, school, or community pathway).
Entries must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of the participant.
Employees of the Promoters and their immediate families are not eligible to apply.
3. How to Enter
Applications must be submitted via the official application form hosted on the Auckland FC website during the advertised application period.
Only one entry per participant is permitted.
Submission of an application does not guarantee selection.
4. Selection Process
50 participants will be selected by a panel representing the Promoters, based on alignment with the purpose of the initiative.
Selection is not determined by chance, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding outcomes.
Selected participants will be notified via the email address provided in their application.
5. Participant Requirements
If selected, participants must:
Be available to attend the Auckland FC match on Sunday, 8 March in Auckland with their parent or legal guardian.
Be comfortable participating in photography, filming, and media-related activities connected to the initiative.
Submit a short video (details provided upon selection) introducing themselves and their relationship with football. This short video may be used for promotion at the game (08.03.2026) and in any post-game collateral perpetuity.
Failure to meet these requirements within the allocated time provided to you via email notification may result in the place being offered to an alternative participant.
6. What Participants Receive
Each selected participant will receive:
New Balance product to the value of NZD $500, intended to support participation in football across the year. This would be redeemable via a code on the NewBalance.co.nz website.
Access to football-related experiences, training opportunities, or development support facilitated by Auckland FC (details may vary and will be communicated directly to participants).
One entry ticket to the Auckland FC match on Sunday 8 March for the participant, plus one parent or legal guardian.
The package does not include cash or cash alternatives and is non-transferable.
7. Travel & Expenses
All travel, accommodation, meals, and associated costs required to attend the Auckland FC match or related activities are the responsibility of the participant and their family.
The Promoters do not provide travel assistance or reimbursements.
8. Data Collection & Use
Personal information collected as part of the application process will be used to administer this initiative and to support the Promoters’ shared goal of growing participation in grassroots football.
Information may be securely shared between the Promoters for these purposes and handled in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting the Promoters.
9. Publicity & Media
By participating, entrants and their parent/legal guardian consent to the use of the participant’s name, image, likeness, voice, and submitted video content by the Promoters for editorial, promotional, and community storytelling purposes across owned, earned, and shared media.
No additional compensation will be provided for such use.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoters accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered as a result of participation in this initiative or attendance at any related activity.
11. General
The Promoters reserve the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the initiative if circumstances beyond their control require it.
Participation in the initiative constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
The laws of New Zealand govern these Terms & Conditions.
