Auckland FC has released its new home jersey ahead of the club’s blockbuster pre-season clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
The shirt, featuring a smart white collar and contrasting white piping, sees a return to the champion’s iconic blue and black stripes with the bold blue band formed from hundreds of individual lines.
Separately, each line tells an individual story. Together, they represent the many journeys that bring people from all over the world to call Auckland home. Whether as a fan, a player or a professional, we’re all Kiwis, all Aucklanders and all share a love of the game.
The goalkeeper kit is a dusty pink that again subtly features hundreds of converging lines.
Eagle-eyed fans will also notice this season’s jersey features the A-League’s logo in gold, in recognition of the club’s status as defending champions. The club mantra, ‘Always Advance. Never Retreat’ again features in gold text inside the collar.
Like last year, the Auckland FC 26/27 A-League Men’s home jersey comes in two distinct cuts, Replica and Elite fit. For now, the new jersey is only available to buy in the Replica cut in sizes suitable for men, women and youth. This should fit your usual top size. The jersey is available in adult, $140, and youth, $130.
How to Get Yours: Auckland FC Members three-day exclusive window
Auckland FC Members can get their hands on the new jersey and have an exclusive three-day period to place their order starting now. The shirt will be initially available at an exclusive member click-and-collect event starting Saturday, 25 July. The click-and-collect will operate from an Auckland FC pop-up store close to Gate A on Walters Road, Eden Park. This will run from 10am to 6pm.
Members unable to make Saturday will still be able to collect their new shirt on Sunday ahead of the game against Tottenham Hotspur. This will open at 11am until around an hour after full time.
Those unable to attend the pop-up can opt to have the item shipped to them, although it will only be dispatched after the fixture.
And as always, members will get a 10% discount on the retail price.
How to Get Yours: General Fans
For fans heading to the game on Sunday and keen to rep Auckland FC like a champion, the pop-up store will be open for general retail purchases from 11am at the merchandise shop by Gate A.
Select retailers, including kit partner New Balance, will also be selling the jersey online. New Balance will open online ordering from 9am on Friday, 24 July.
Those travelling to the game should look out for a special New Balance ‘grab-a-shirt’ activation taking place in Kingsland, giving lucky football fans the chance to pick up a shirt for free.
