Auckland FC and Anchor reunite for three more seasons of real good football

Auckland Football Club (AFC) is excited to announce that Anchor is back on board for another three seasons. The iconic Kiwi brand is extending its partnership with AFC through to 2028, continuing a collaboration that’s brought fans, families, and football together throughout AFC’s inaugural season.

From the Milk & Cookie gameday ritual to grassroots football activations, Anchor has been more than a sponsor – it’s been part of the AFC whānau. This renewed partnership is all about keeping that momentum going, fuelling players and fans with the goodness of real dairy and the joy of the beautiful game.

“We’re thrilled to have Anchor back with us,” said Nick Becker, CEO of Auckland FC.

“They’ve been with us from the beginning, helping us build something truly special. This partnership isn’t just about football – it’s about community, connection, and creating memories that last well beyond the final whistle.”

Anchor’s support has helped AFC reach beyond the stadium, inspiring the next generation of footballers and bringing the club into homes across Aotearoa. Whether it’s through grassroots activations, family-friendly matchday traditions, or simply a bottle of Anchor Milk in the fridge, the partnership continues to celebrate the power of sport and nutrition.

“Anchor is proud to support AFC in bringing the goodness of real dairy to Kiwi families,” said Renée Milkop-Kerr, Marketing & Innovation Director at Fonterra Oceania.

“From matchday moments to everyday nutrition, we’re committed to fuelling strong bodies and nurturing the connections that make communities thrive.

“Supporting AFC allows us to champion those values in a way that’s meaningful and memorable.”

The renewed partnership will be celebrated with the launch of a new AFC docuseries, Forever Auckland FC, premiering on SKY on August 27, and a fresh kit reveal at Auckland Fashion Week on August 28.

Fans can expect more fun, more flavour, and more footy as Anchor and AFC team up for another three years of Real Good football.
