Auckland FC is hosting its first ever end of season sample sale. Offering fans the chance to get their hands on some heavily discounted merchandise, as well as hard to find and one-off items.
Also running will be a silent charity auction for player worn Founders’ jerseys. The jerseys were worn by players in both the opening game, Auckland FC’s first ever, against Brisbane Roar, and the team’s second game against Sydney FC.
The player jerseys were worn by; Dan Hall, Louise Verstraete, Hiroki Sakai, Francis de Vries, Liam Gillion, Nando Pijnaker and Jesse Randall.
The shirts of Sakai and Pijnaker will be particularly coveted. Sakai forced the opening goal in the game against the Roar, and Pijnaker was the difference, scoring a 97th-minute winner a week later against Sydney.
All money raised from the silent auction will be donated to Starship Hospital.
