Auckland FC will start its OFC Pro League title defence in Australia in January. The 2027 schedule runs through five circuits across the Pacific, with finals in the Solomon Islands in June.
The Black Knights go into the new season as defending champions. Auckland FC will play 14 regular-season matches, facing each of their seven league opponents twice, before the finals series begins on 25 May.
Two clashes stand out. The New Zealand derby against South Island United is a guaranteed highlight. It is played twice, first on New Zealand soil in March and again in Vanuatu in May.
The season opens with a Grand Final rematch. Auckland FC and South Melbourne FC meet again on Friday 22 January, the first time the two sides have played since last season’s decider, and they face each other a second time in New Zealand in March.
Circuit 1: Australia
The season opens on Friday 22 January against South Melbourne FC. Vanuatu United and Solomon Kings FC follow later that week.
Circuit 2: Australia
The squad returns to Australia in mid-February. This circuit includes a first meeting with Tahiti United and a second with Solomon Kings.

Circuit 3: New Zealand
March brings the league to New Zealand. Auckland FC plays South Island United and Bula FC for the first time, then meets South Melbourne FC again.
Circuit 4: New Zealand
This is a shorter circuit, with two fixtures in April: return matches against PNG Hekari FC and Bula FC.

Circuit 5: Vanuatu
The regular season ends in Vanuatu. The last three fixtures are against Vanuatu United FC, South Island United and Tahiti United.

Finals: Solomon Islands
The finals series is in the Solomon Islands, with the Grand Final on Sunday 6 June.

With the fixtures set, attention turns to the squad. Recruitment of coaching staff and players for the 2027 OFC Pro League campaign will begin shortly. The club will announce updates as the squad comes together ahead of January’s season opener.
Venues, kick-off times and broadcast details for each circuit will be confirmed closer to the dates. Follow Auckland FC’s channels for the latest news.
