The days are getting longer, the sun warmer, and football’s back with Auckland FC’s return to Go Media Stadium now less than 50 days away.
To whet your appetite for what’s to come, the club is excited to provide a first look at the entertainment fans can expect to enjoy. Read on to discover how the club plans to continue to provide the league’s best fans with the best atmosphere, best entertainment and Auckland’s best day out!
SINGLE MATCH TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE
For those keen to lock in, single match tickets to all games are now on sale, with those booking early rewarded with a 10% ticket discount across all ticket types for one week only. For those who miss out, the A-League’s ‘Football Starts Here’ initiative will provide a consistent, entry level price point for families, with a limited number of $25 Adult, $5 Junior and $50 Family (2 Adult, 2 Junior) tickets available for every Isuzu UTE A-League 2026/27 regular season match.
There are also two, three and four game packs. These guarantee you a seat at each game, including the highly anticipated derby.
But if you’re looking to save money and see nearly every Auckland FC game, nothing beats membership for value for money, and the opportunity to get close to the players.
AUCKLAND’S BEST DAY OUT
For season three, Auckland FC remains committed to providing the best entertainment both on and off the field. Meaning whether you’re a diehard fan who wouldn’t be seen anywhere else, a casual fan there for the spectacle, or simply looking for a way to keep the kids entertained for a couple of hours, Auckland FC has you covered.
The legendary 25-metre slide returns for season three, ready to take its place at the top of the hill and the top of each child’s favourite things to do list.
Also returning will be the giant inland beach, back for back-to-back home games on January 24 and January 31.
Before that, the season starts on Saturday, October 17 with a 5pm game against Melbourne City, brought to you by ANZ.
Welcoming fans back to the stadium after a five-month hiatus will be numerous musicians and performers to entertain the crowds at each gate, with a couple of special performances lined up to take place ahead of kick-off. There will also be a Warbirds fly-past. The club guarantees these aircraft will maintain a safe distance from the stadium roof.
THE RIVALRY CONTINUES
Next is Saturday, November 7, election day and the derby. Auckland versus Wellington. Six wins, plays zero. Twenty goals scored versus only four conceded.
The club are creating a country theme for this game. There will be minature ponies located in the new activation area near gate A, a bucking bronco, line dancing classes plus additional activations created by match-day sponsor Anchor.
SUPERHEROES & PRINCESSES
Following that will be a special kids fancy dress round when Auckland take on Melbourne Victory at 5pm on Saturday, November 21.
Kids are encouraged to dress up as their favourite princess or superhero in this McDonald’s-sponsored match day. There will be a swap shop in the fan zone for parents to donate and exchange costumes their kids have grown out of, spot prizes for the best costumes, plus well-loved fictional characters available for photos. A reverse bungee will allow the kids big and small to ‘fly’ through the air, just like their heroes.
CHRISTMAS COMES EARLY
Christmas comes to Go Media Stadium on Saturday, December 12, complete with Teddy Toss – stay tuned for more on this. Our traditional New Year’s Day game returns as Fan Appreciation Day with the club working to get fans on the field, weather permitting, and the return of the world’s biggest New Year’s Day water fight.
SUMMER OF FUN
Moving into January and beyond, the carnival and Ferris Wheel will return, a grassroots round will celebrate local clubs, and once again we’ll attempt (and hopefully succeed) with the baby race.
Sticking with races, the most popular half-time activation of last season, the Barfoot & Thompson Mascot Race is set for March 13. This match day is also the club’s multicultural round and timed to coincide with the Pasifika Festival.
ANZAC & EMERGENCY SERVICES
This will be followed by match days that celebrate our emergency services and ANZACs. Expect to see fire engines and ambos in the Family Fan Zone and another moving service featuring both New Zealand and Australian national anthems.
