Auckland FC Head Coach Steve Corica today confirmed left-back Francis de Vries is likely to miss at least six weeks through injury.
De Vries felt his calf during the first half of the All whites game against Finland on Friday night and was promptly substituted. A subsequent scan showed a calf strain.
The injury means Francis will miss the remainder of the regular A-League season but there are hopes he could make a potential return for the semi-finals.
