Egg brand Henergy Eggs has partnered with Auckland FC to fuel the players on and off the pitch.
The partnership between Henergy Eggs and Auckland FC celebrates two teams committed to nutrition, performance, and a real passion for eggs.
Gareth van der Heyden is the Chief Eggs-ecutive Officer of the kiwi business.
Van der Heyden believes that Auckland FC is redefining what the fan and family experience should look like.

Henergy Eggs is all about family – a fourth-generation business. The Henergy brand was the first cage-free brand starting in 1999 and eventually hatched into the New Zealand renowned brand it’s become today.

Elias Boukarim, Auckland FC’s head of performance is particularly enthusiastic about the partnership with Henergy Eggs.
He became infamous after appearing on the Sky Originals documentary Forever Auckland FC, exhorting the team to consume at least four eggs a day. It is safe to say he prides himself on being an eggs-pert in the omelette department.
“We have a famous little quote here at Auckland FC, ‘you have to break a few eggs to make an omelette.’ We train the boys really, really hard,” says Boukarim.
“Everyone knows my love for eggs and the benefits they bring to training and recovery.”
