Jesse Randall and Liam Gillion have secured a place in the All Whites squad for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The excitement for the upcoming Olympic Games has reached a new peak at Auckland FC with the announcement that 21-year-old Jesse Randall and Liam Gillion will be heading to Paris later this month.
Jesse Randall, fresh off his return from the OFC Men’s Nations Cup, played a crucial role in the All Whites’ victorious campaign, where the All Whites came away with a 3-0 win over Vanuatu in Port Vila. This match was particularly memorable for Randall as he netted his very first goal for the All Whites, contributing to the team’s sixth OFC Men’s Nations Cup title.
Liam Gillion, on the other hand, brings experience from his time with the New Zealand U23 squad and the FIFA Club World Cup.
“I’d like to congratulate all players on their selection, but I’m especially pleased for Jesse and Liam,” said Auckland FC CEO Nick Becker.
