Steve Corica is a name that resonates with football fans. Over an impressive playing career, Corica hit the field in 430 games, showcasing his skill and sheer love for the game.

His journey from a young football enthusiast to a celebrated athlete is a tale of hard work and success. Corica wasn’t just a star at the club level; he made waves on the international stage too. Earning 32 caps for Australia.  

With 67 goals to his name, Corica was a goal-scoring machine. Known for his sharp finishing and clever playmaking, he was always a threat to the opposition and a key player for his team.

Corica’s career is packed with achievements. He played a crucial role in winning two A-League Championships and one A-League Premiership, leading his team as captain to glory with his outstanding performances.

He has helped his team win the Oceania Club Championship and the OFC Nations Cup. His impact on the pitch earned him a spot in the Team of the Decade, highlighting his lasting influence as a player. 

Managing Career: The Transition to Leadership 

After retiring as a player, Corica made a smooth transition to management, bringing his expertise and strategic mind to coaching. Coaching over 180 games and counting, Corica has proved to be just as effective off the field. He has secured 84 wins so far and has a solid win rate of 47%.  

He has led his teams to two A-League Championships and one A-League Premiership, echoing the success he achieved as a player.

Corica’s coaching career also saw his team lift the Australia Cup, adding another trophy to his impressive collection. His deep understanding of the game and his leadership skills were key in driving his teams to victory. 

Corica’s football career, both as a player and a coach, is a brilliant example of dedication, talent, and success.
