🌭 AFC TAILGATE
AFC Tailgate has a new home in the LilyWorld Carpark, and now fans can drive straight in and set up in true tailgate style.
The new location will continue to feature mini-football, picnic tables, garden games and barbeques for fans to use.
Please note: To help manage traffic flow around Gate E (near Lilyworld), vehicles will be permitted to exit either from the 80th minute of the match or between 45 and 60 minutes post-match. AFC staff will be on-site to coordinate departures and ensure a smooth and safe exit for all fans.
Any alcohol found in vehicles will result in an immediate eviction – security will be doing vehicle checks upon arrival. You will be given the opportunity to handover any alcohol prior to checks. This ban also extends to soft drinks.
And finally, please don’t drink and drive. If you feel too intoxicated to drive, please inform a member of staff who will arrange to have your car moved.
🛝 FAMILY FAN ZONE
The Family Fan Zone will be in full swing from 1:30pm, located in the North End beneath the big screen – and it’s bigger than ever. There’s something for everyone, including a 25-metre inflatable slide, football darts, a kicking cage, plus an ambulance and police car for the kids to explore.
Head down to the Family Fan Zone pre-match to check out the New Balance activation, where you can customise your gear with exclusive heat-pressed patches, created especially for the day. Keep an eye out around the stadium too – the t-shirt cannons will be in action, firing New Balance x AFC tees into the crowd. Stay ready… You never know where they’ll land.
PRE-MATCH
WARM UP KIT
This special Women’s and Girls-themed fixture celebrates International Women’s Day – a moment to recognise and champion the women and girls who shape our game and our lives every day.
To mark the occasion, each player will be wearing the name of an influential woman in their life on the back of their warm-up shirts. As well as the number 50, to acknowledge the 50-year ban on women and girls playing football in New Zealand, and honouring how far the game has come since.
THE NEXT 50
New Balance and Auckland FC are proud to launch The Next 50, a new initiative dedicated to ensuring the next generation of girls stays in the game. The Next 50 will support 50 grassroots girls aged 10–14, the critical age where participation drop-off in football is most likely.
This initiative is about more than development; it’s about opportunity, belief, and creating a clear pathway forward. By keeping girls in the game longer, we’re helping them realise their potential and strengthening the future of women’s football from the ground up.
The 50 selected players will receive meaningful, season-long support, including a $500 New Balance football gear package, plus access to football camps, ongoing training, and structured development through Auckland FC programmes.
Be sure to look out for the girls as benchwarmers pre-match and the honour guard as players walk out for kick-off.
PERFORMANCE
Fan favourite, Nick Pearson, will be performing in front of the Port as well.
HALF-TIME
AUT CHALLENGE
Together with our exclusive university partner, Auckland University of Technology (AUT), we are hosting AUT students training to become paramedics and nurses, as well as AUT students who are members of the university’s women’s football team.
And at half-time, it’s game on with the inaugural AUT Challenge – an on-field tug of war. Ten talented AUT students in each team will go head-to-head.

⚔️ ACTIVE SUPPORT – THE PORT
The Port is located in Bay 21, 22 & 23, in the middle of the lower South Stand. If you’re in this section, expect singing, standing and colourful language. Please remember that Bay 21, 22 & 23 is for Port ticket holders only. Please ask our friendly team on matchday if you have ticketing queries.
For those keen to enjoy the atmosphere of the South Stand without the need to stand and sing all game, we recommend the bays outside of Bay 21, 22 & 23 in the Lower South Stand.
Auckland FC games are a family-friendly event where fans of all ages should feel welcome and be able to enjoy the match. For this reason, we advise families with young children or fans who prefer to sit to avoid The Port section.
