Nando Pijnaker dislocated his right shoulder after jumping to contest a ball during his sides 2-2 draw against Melbourne Victory on Saturday.
The incident took place during the 32nd minute of the game and the player was promptly substituted. Nando had only recently returned to the side after suffering a moderate grade ankle injury earlier in the season.
After an MRI scan yesterday, Nando will see a specialist for further opinion. Auckland FC will provide a further update once this has been completed.
Everyone at Auckland FC wishes Nando a speedy recovery.
