Cameron Howieson

Howieson signed a scholarship contract with Burnley in 2011, scoring two goals in the FA Youth Cup quarter-final against Fulham in 2012. Howieson signed a professional contract with Burnley shortly after, making his senior debut against Birmingham City. During this game, he became the youngest ever kiwi in the EFL. In 2015, Howieson moved to St Mirren in the Scottish Championship, scoring on his league debut. The following year, Howieson returned to New Zealand playing first for Team Wellington, moving to Auckland City in 2017. Howieson played approximately 190 games for Auckland City, winning several Regional League and OFC Champions League titles.
Howieson signed for Auckland FC in 2024 and has been integral to Auckland’s start in the A-League.
Howieson has represented New Zealand at U-17, U-20 and senior levels, playing 21 times for the first team, including a goal in the OFC Nations Cup against Vanuatu, helping the side to a 3-0 win.
