It all started back in Queensland, where I joined Western Pride. That’s where I got my first taste of senior football in 2017. I remember scoring my first senior goal against South West Queensland Thunder, which was a big moment for me. Then, in the 2017 NPL Queensland Grand Final, I came on as a late substitute and was fouled, leading to the free-kick that Dylan Wenzel-Halls converted to win us the match. That was an unforgettable moment early in my career.

After my time with Western Pride, I joined the Central Coast Mariners Academy and eventually captained the side. In November 2020, the Mariners offered me a senior contract, which was a dream come true. It was a huge step up in terms of the level of competition, but I felt ready for the challenge. The Mariners helped me develop a lot as a player, and I was able to contribute to the team over the next few seasons.

Winning the 2022–23 A-League Championship with the Mariners was one of the highlights of my career. The team worked so hard throughout the season, and to see it all come together in the end was amazing. The support from the fans, the atmosphere in the final—it’s something that will stay with me forever.

The following season, 2023–24, was even more successful for the Mariners. Winning the Championship, Premiership, and AFC Cup in one season was beyond what any of us could have imagined. Everything just clicked for us, and we had such a strong bond as a team. It was my last season with the Mariners, and to end it with so much success was special. I’ll always be grateful for my time there.

Representing Fiji would mean a lot to me. In 2021, I was considering playing in the OFC World Cup qualification tournament, and it’s still something I’m thinking about for the future. It’s an honour to have the opportunity to represent my heritage on the international stage.

I’m excited to be part of Auckland FC. It’s a new challenge for me, and I’m looking forward to helping the club succeed in the A-League. My main focus is on settling into the team, working hard, and contributing to our goals both individually and collectively. I’m eager to see what we can achieve together.
