Liam Gillion

Liam Gillion played regional football with Western Suburbs, making his first team debut in 2019. After making 33 appearances, Gillion moved to Auckland City in 2022. Across his time at City, he made 78 appearances, bagging 29 goals and 10 assists. In 2024, Gillion signed for Auckland FC as a scholarship player. 

Gillion made his debut in Auckland FC’s inaugural game against Brisbane Roar, and he scored his first goal in a 4-1 win over Central Coast Mariners.  

Gillion has represented New Zealand at U-23 and senior levels, scoring his first international goal against Fiji in the OFC Men’s Olympic Qualifier in 2023.
