New Zealand international Max Mata etched his name in the history books by scoring Auckland FC’s first-ever goal. This pivotal moment came in the 27th minute, levelling the scores at 1-1.
The intensity continued throughout the match, with both teams fighting for control. It was not until ten minutes before the final whistle that Luis Toomey scored a crucial goal to tie the game at 2-2.
