Auckland FC welcomes back-to-back championship winner Dan Hall to the club!

Auckland FC are pleased to announce the signing of championship winning centre back, Dan Hall.

Perhaps our most high-profile signing so far, Melbourne-born Dan Hall joins us from Central Coast Mariners where he was an integral part of the club’s recent treble-winning season.

The much-coveted 25-year-old centre-back will become our defensive rock. He brings bags of experience and having won plenty of silverware, he will be an inspiring figure for our team and supporters to look up to.

Dan has been with Central Coast Mariners since turning professional back in 2020. In that time he has played approximately 90 times for the club, 37 last season alone, including every minute of the Mariners’ triumphant three-game A-League Men’s Finals Series.

“There were quite a few clubs vying for Dan’s signature. He’s an outstanding player, and his experience will most definitely bridge youth and experience into a solid, strong attacking team,” said Head Coach Steve Corica.

Speaking at his unveiling in Auckland earlier today, Hall said he was eager to join Auckland FC.

“Auckland FC has a huge amount to offer; the pathways, the potential, and the chance to be part of a debut season, too good to turn down to be honest. I’m excited to get my kit on, meet my new teammates and see what’s going on and what the city is all about,” said Hall.

“I’m grateful to the team at Central Coast, they are a great club and I’ve been there my whole career. But it’s time for a change, to test myself somewhere new and take the next step.”
