🌭 AFC TAILGATE

AFC Tailgate has a new home in the LilyWorld Carpark, and now fans can drive straight in and set up in true tailgate style. The new location will continue to feature mini-football, picnic tables, garden games and barbeques for fans to use.

Please note: To help manage traffic flow around Gate E (near Lilyworld), vehicles will be permitted to exit either from the 80th minute of the match or between 45 and 60 minutes post-match. AFC staff will be on-site to coordinate departures and ensure a smooth and safe exit for all fans.

Any alcohol found in vehicles will result in an immediate eviction – security will be doing vehicle checks upon arrival. You will be given the opportunity to hand over any alcohol prior to checks. This ban also extends to soft drinks. And finally, please don’t drink and drive. If you feel too intoxicated to drive, please inform a member of staff who will arrange to have your car moved.

🛝 FAMILY FAN ZONE

The Family Fan Zone kicks off from 1:30PM at the North End of the stadium, right beneath the big screen. There’s something for everyone from the 25-metre inflatable slide and football darts to the face painter and inflatable obstacle course. Heinz Free Fries are back again. Be sure to grab yours before kick-off!

The Information tent has moved from its usual spot on the north bank. It is now located in the Family Fan Zone opposite the Pringles suite, so if you have any questions on matchday, head to the blue information tent in the Fan Zone.

Auckland FC’s final home game of the season will see the club honour armed forces veterans.

Partnering with the New Zealand Vietnam Veterans Association, the game against Central Coast Mariners on April 19 will feature numerous initiatives to raise awareness and financial support for all veterans. This will include poppy sellers fundraising ahead of ANZAC Day the following week, a warbird flyover at half-time and a remembrance ceremony ahead of kick-off.

The Auckland FC player shirts will also feature the poppy printed on the centre of the shirt. These shirts will also be signed by the players and auctioned off afterwards, raising additional funds for veterans.

PRE-MATCH

Auckland University of Technology’s (AUT) Humanoid Robot are delivering today’s match ball onto the pitch. Make sure you’re in your seats to watch this!

HALF-TIME

AUT’s Māori Students’ Association – Titahi Ki Tua or TKT – will deliver a powerful performance, including the haka, that promises to be a proud Kiwi moment. Fresh off their first-place win at Te Huinga Tauira, the National Tertiary Students’ Conference.

FULL-TIME

If you ever wanted to walk on the pitch of Go Media Stadium, now is your chance. At the end of Auckland FC’s last home game of the regular season, all fans in the stadium will be invited onto the pitch with the players to celebrate the end of another fantastic season.

When the full-time whistle blows at the end of the game against Central Coast Mariners on Sunday, the gates will be opened, and fans can enter the field of play.

Remember to listen and follow instructions from the security team, staff, and match officials to ensure that this is a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Rules and instructions can be found here.

And finally, if the weather isn’t on our side this week and field conditions don’t allow, we may have to postpone this one for a future game.

🚙 TRANSPORT & PARKING

Fans are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time. If you are driving, consider carpooling with your group and allow extra travel time as traffic may be heavier than usual.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Public transport is the best way to get to Go Media, with buses servicing the area this Saturday. Plenty of regular route buses also make stops along Church Street and Beasley Avenue.

The Western & Onehunga lines are running as usual. Buses replace trains on the Eastern & Southern Lines.

ARRIVE EARLY

To avoid congestion and to enjoy pre-match entertainment, please arrive early.

⚔️ ACTIVE SUPPORT – THE PORT

The Port is located in Bay 21, 22 & 23, in the middle of the lower South Stand. If you’re in this section, expect singing, standing and colourful language. Please remember that Bay 21, 22 & 23 is for Port ticket holders only. Please ask our friendly team on matchday if you have ticketing queries.

For those keen to enjoy the atmosphere of the South Stand without the need to stand and sing all game, we recommend the bays outside of Bay 21, 22 & 23 in the Lower South Stand.

Auckland FC games are a family-friendly event where fans of all ages should feel welcome and be able to enjoy the match. For this reason, we advise families with young children or fans who prefer to sit to avoid The Port section.

And as ever, wherever you are in the stadium, be respectful of each other and staff. Abusive or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in immediate ejection from the stadium.
